A certain level of competency and experience is required for new band members. We generally do not do music lessons and expect that applicants already have a path for their own development. It is not unusual for applicants to be asked to continue taking lessons because they are not yet ready. A contributing factor is our need for the role (for example, if we do not have enough drummers, we may be willing to let a more novice person play.) Please do not be offended if we ask for you to keep working on your craft or if the timing isn't right to bring you on board! Thank you for understanding.
